About The Retreat
Carnival Origins was created by Chriss Choreo, physiotherapist, dancer, and founder of Chriss Fit, to offer women something deeper than a vacation.
Rather than simply arriving for Carnival weekend, you’ll spend seven unforgettable days immersed in Jamaica’s music, dance, culture, nature, wellness, and feminine empowerment.
You’ll train together before the trip, meet your group online, stay together in beautiful accommodation, explore Jamaica, create lifelong friendships, and experience carnival as part of a supportive community instead of navigating it alone.
Whether you’ve never attended carnival or you’re returning for another season, Carnival Origins gives you the confidence, knowledge, and connections to make the experience unforgettable.

Choose between staying in our beautiful shared Carnival Origins Airbnb
or booking your own accommodation independently.
Transportation
Transportation is not included in the retreat package, allowing guests the
flexibility to arrange travel that best suits their schedule and budget.
Carnival Package
Carnival band registration and costume are not included. Participants
are free to purchase their preferred costume while still enjoying the Road March together as
one Carnival Origins group.

Do I need Carnival experience?
Not at all! Carnival Origins is designed for both first-time and experienced carnival participants. We’ll guide you through everything you need to know before Road March.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many women attend solo. You’ll meet the group before arriving through our private online community, so you’ll already know familiar faces before you land in Jamaica.
Do I need dance experience?
No. All movement sessions are beginner-friendly and can be modified for different fitness levels.The goal is confidence, connection, and having fun.
Is this retreat only for women?
Yes. Carnival Origins is an exclusive women’s retreat created to provide a safe, empowering space for connection, movement, and personal growth.
Is the Carnival costume included?
No. Carnival band registration and costumes are purchased separately. This gives you the freedom to choose the band, costume section, and price that best suit your budget while stil celebrating together as one Carnival Origins group.
Do I have to parade in Carnival?
While Road March is a highlight of the retreat, participation is your choice. You’re welcome to enjoy the week’s experiences even if you decide not to parade.
Is airfare included?
No. Guests are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Jamaica.
Is transportation included?
No. Transportation is not included in the retreat package, giving participants the flexibility to choose transportation options that suit their schedule and budget.
Where will we stay?
You can reserve a space in our shared Carnival Origins Airbnb or book your own accommodation independently. We’ll provide recommendations to help you stay close to the group.
Can I have my own room?
Yes. Private accommodation options are available, or you may choose book your own hotel or Airbnb.
Are meals included?
A welcome dinner and farewell breakfast are included. Additional meals are at your own expense, giving you the freedom to enjoy Jamaica’s incredible food scene.
Will there be free time?
Yes. The itinerary includes scheduled activities as well as free time to relax, explore, shop, or simply enjoy Jamaica at your own pace.
What should I pack?
We’ll send you a detailed packing guide before the retreat, including workout attire, beachwear, casual clothing, and everything you’ll need for Carnival Day.
Is Jamaica safe?
Your safety is a priority. Activities are carefully planned, and we’ll provide guidance before arrival on transportation, local customs, and practical travel tips to help you feel comfortable
throughout your stay.
What if I don't know anyone?
That’s exactly why Carnival Origins exists. Our goal is to create genuine friendships through online meetups before the retreat, shared experiences during the week, and a supportive community that lasts well beyond Carnival.throughout your stay.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation and refund policies will be outlined in your booking agreement. Please review them carefully before registering.
How many women will attend?
To maintain an intimate, high-quality experience, spaces are limited to approximately **15-20 women**.
Why is it called Carnival Origins?
