I’ve been working with Chriss for one year now and my annual check up shows that I am healthier than when I was in my 20s. I have spinal disorders that along with the hormonal changes that come as I move through life, started to disrupt my health. When I met Chriss in Rio de Janeiro, I was living in chronic pain; I was losing muscle faster than I could build it; and I couldn’t move freely in my own body to do what I love most, dancing samba. My doctor had just prescribed me physical therapy and I am grateful to the universe that a few days later, I was crossing paths with a certified physical therapist, personal trainer, dancer, and hot gyal. Thanks to Chriss, I understand movement and my body better. She explains the components of my personalized program, which is tailored to my goals and needs, so that I can understand how to get stronger. During our sessions, Chriss takes into account how I’m feeling since we women go through cycles and we honor my body where it is. She also challenges me and sweetly encourages to get stronger. Since my first session, I’ve gained lean muscle and strength as I am working on correcting my muscle imbalances. My spine has gained several centimeters in length and my posture looks so much better. Also, since I have better spine mobility, I can dance to my heart’s content without getting injured or being in pain. In addition, I am now able to fit the small sized clothes I had saved in my closet from when I was in my 20s; my eating habits have also changed for the best as I want to get stronger; my skin is glowing and my hair looks fuller; and the clarity and energy I have now, I did not have before I started to invest in myself. Chriss is a real muse, a source of inspiration, and her coaching is an essential component in my healing journey. I cannot recommend her enough if you want to obtain tangible results and live a better, healthier, and happier life. As Chriss says: “Let’s get it!” 💪🏽

What needs improvement

1. The recording of the class was not declared during the class promotional details. In the future this should be declared so individuals are aware. For some people a safe space means they are not recorded fo their personal privacy

2. The space was tight so some of the fance routines wereuncomfortable.

3. During the class I wish it ncluded Chriss giving persons feedback if they are doing the moves correctly and if not tips to improve so person leave with new techniques especially during the floor routines at the beginning.

Learning something new was a great experience. I enjoyed all the sessions especially the Samba!

The stage was set for me before the session. The organization and communication made it clear to me that this was going to be topetear. The mediation at the start was very meaningful for me. The entire 3 hours was all vibrant and powerful positive energy. I’m ready for next week’s session 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
